At the Hotel Baita dei Pini in Bormio, we propose excursions along the most characteristic paths of the Upper Valtellina area.
Some of these excursions are of a remarkable historical value, such as those pursued in order to re-discover the itineraries of the First World War, fought on the peaks of the Ortler-Cevedale Mountain Range.
Every week, we organise guided tours to the protected territory of the Stelvio National Park (that includes the mountains surrounding the Bormio county valley) in order for you to get to know the typical flora and fauna in our alpine countryside better and to capture aspects of their identity.
For us, the guest is first of all a friend. For this reason, we will be delighted to invite you, if you so wish, to the barbecues and picnics held in the family lodge in the heart of the National Park, near to the famous Zebrù Valley.
For all children, from 6 years up, thanks to the collaboration with the Summer Camp organisation, there is the opportunity to enjoy every single aspect of mountain life with trips to the Stelvio National Park either on foot or on mountain bike, team games, rock climbing and a whole world of entertainment is guaranteed!
